# Privacy

## The short version

We collect what you type into the contact form, and nothing else.

There is no account to create, no cookie of ours on your machine, no advertising and no profile built from how you read these pages. Whatever we do hold, you can ask to see or have deleted, and we will do it.

## What we collect

Two things, both when you send the contact form:

1. **What you type.** Your name, your email address, the topic you picked, and your message.
2. **What arrives with it.** Your IP address and the time you sent it. We need these to stop the form being used to send mail in your name, and for no other purpose.

Reading the site collects nothing. If you never use the form, we never learn anything about you that we could tie back to a person.

## The Learn pages

Reading [dharanova.com/learn](https://dharanova.com/learn.md) works like the rest of the site: we learn nothing about you beyond the cookie-free traffic counting described below.

1. **The chooser stays in your browser.** Your answers to the six questions, and anything you type as a project description, are handled in your browser and never sent to us. Nothing is saved on your device either; close the page and they are gone.
2. **Copying a prompt sends nothing.** "Copy this as a prompt" puts text on your clipboard and nowhere else. If you paste it into an AI assistant, that service's own privacy terms apply.
3. **Links out are only for your learning.** Nothing on these pages records which links you follow. When you open one, your browser tells the other site only that you came from dharanova.com, not which page, and from then on that site's own privacy policy applies, not ours.
4. **Share buttons are plain links.** The LinkedIn, X and WhatsApp buttons are ordinary links with no code from those services on our pages, so nothing is sent to them unless you tap one. If you do, that service opens with the page's address ready to share, and its own privacy policy applies. "Share" uses your device's own share menu, and "Copy link" only puts the address on your clipboard.
5. **Feedback uses the contact form.** The "Tell us" buttons open the same contact form described above, with the page you were on filled in, so everything on this page applies to it.

## Why we have it, and for how long

You gave it to us to get in touch. That is the only reason we hold it, and we do not use it for anything else.

1. **Your message, in our mailbox.** It arrives at info@dharanova.com and a founder reads it. It stays while the conversation is live, and while we may reasonably still need to answer you.
2. **A copy on our server, for 90 days.** We write your enquiry to a file before we try to send it, so that a mail failure cannot lose your message. It is a safety net, not a record, so it is deleted automatically after 90 days.
3. **Abuse-prevention records, for 24 hours.** Your IP address and email address, stored as one-way hashes we cannot read back, used only to stop the same source flooding the form. Deleted within a day.

## Who else can see it

Two companies, both because the site needs them to work. None of them are paid with your data, and none of them get it to use for their own ends.

1. **Google.** Our email runs on Google Workspace, so your message passes through and rests in Google's systems. That is now the only part of this site Google touches: the typefaces used to be loaded from Google's servers on every page, and they are served from ours instead, so reading a page no longer sends your address there.
2. **Cloudflare.** Every request to this site passes through Cloudflare before it reaches us, so they see your IP address. They also run the check that tells a person from a script, and the traffic counting we use, which sets no cookie and does not follow you to other sites.

Both are outside India, so your information is handled abroad. We do not sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone for advertising. If we are ever legally compelled to disclose something, we will say so unless we are forbidden to.

## Cookies

We set none. Cloudflare's check for scripts may set a short-lived cookie for the single purpose of remembering that the check passed. There is no analytics cookie, no advertising cookie, and nothing that follows you off this site — which is why you are not being asked to dismiss a banner.

## What you can ask us to do

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and under the GDPR if you are in the UK or the EEA, you can ask us to:

1. tell you what we hold about you;
2. correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
3. delete it;
4. stop using it, by withdrawing the consent you gave when you wrote to us.

Write to [info@dharanova.com](mailto:info@dharanova.com) and a founder will deal with it. We will answer within 30 days, and there is no charge. Under the DPDP Act you may also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you, and if we do not resolve your complaint you may take it to the Data Protection Board of India.

## Children

This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to us and we will delete it.

## Who we are, and changes to this page

Dharanova Private Limited, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. Privacy questions go to [info@dharanova.com](mailto:info@dharanova.com), which is read by the founders.

If we change how any of this works, we will change this page and move the date below. We will not quietly start collecting something new and leave the old wording standing.

**Last updated:** 8 October 2026.
