## Most of the difficulty is not the idea

Most connected hardware works fine until someone actually lives with it. Almost everything we argue about is one of these four.

### It cannot depend on the network

Power cuts happen. Routers get unplugged. Plenty of homes have no usable WiFi. Ours work offline first and treat the connection as a bonus.

### A false measurement is worse than none

A bathroom scale that reads differently each time stops getting used. Being wrong occasionally is enough to lose trust for good.

### What happens in a house stays in it

Where a device of ours listens, the listening happens on the device. A server is something you can choose to add. It is never something we need.

### It has to survive being ignored

Hardware goes unnoticed until the day it fails. Ours are built for that: heat, dust, wandering voltage, and years of nobody paying attention.

### What does Dharanova make?

Connected hardware for the home. Two product lines are under way: RasoiMind, a device for the kitchen, and DharanovaConnect, one for everyday devotion. Both have a provisional patent filed.

### Where is Dharanova based?

Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. Dharanova is a registered private limited company.

### Can I buy a Dharanova product?

Not yet. Both are pre-launch. Join the early list and we will write when there is a working unit, a date and a price.

### What happens to data from a Dharanova device?

Where a device of ours listens, the listening happens on the device — raw audio does not leave it. That holds for everything we build, not just one product, and it is not something we intend to trade away later for convenience.

### Does Dharanova hold any patents?

Two provisional patent applications have been filed, one for each product.

### Who founded Dharanova?

Bharat Meda, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, and Ravi Kumar Chintalapudi, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer.
